Grant eligibility requirements: You must meet the following criteria: 1) your home must have been built and occupied before 2011; SEAI must not have previously provided support for solar panels at your address; your home's energy performance following installation of solar panels must be BER C or better.
For a Solar PV system, the maximum grant is €900 per kWp up to a maximum of 2kWp. €900 x 2 = €1800. Source: SEAI
